然而事情總是一波三折，在準備回國的前一天（3月18日），爸爸的手機收到了一條攜程官網發(fā)來的短信——機票被取消了！我們都大吃一驚，不敢相信眼前這個事實，一時慌了神。爸爸連忙打開電腦，開始搜索其它機票，然而回國的機票不是需要過境簽，就是要經另一個疫情更為嚴重的地區(qū)中轉。就這樣折騰了一上午，爸爸突然又收到了一條短信，機票竟奇跡般恢復了！此時，我們一顆懸著的心終于像石頭一樣落了地。爸爸推測，有可能是因為最近疫情爆發(fā)，航班審核更為嚴格，所以難免會出現(xiàn)一些差錯。

俗話說，好事多磨。3月19日，我們全副武裝，戴上了又悶又熱的護目鏡、口罩和一次性橡膠手套，還穿上了密不透氣的雨衣。然后坐上爸爸用Uber軟件預約的的士，向愛丁堡機場出發(fā)了。媽媽一直通過微信視頻再三叮囑我們：“不管是在機場還是飛機上，都不可以把口罩和護目鏡摘下來，68個小時要換一次口罩。在飛機上最好不要吃東西、喝水。在機場吃東西的時候盡量找人少的通風口?！?/p>

經過16個小時的長途飛行，我們終于到達了香港國際機場。爸爸本想安排我們到機場貴賓室休息，可是那里也擠滿了戴口罩的旅客，空氣也不新鮮。相反，外面普通的候機廳旅客寥寥無幾。于是我們找了一個既通風又偏僻的角落坐下，休息了起來。

因為在飛機上等待了三個小時，再加上出關檢疫，最終沒有趕上上海至長沙的飛機，我們只好在上海市政府提供的免費隔離酒店住一晚上。幾名志愿者帶我們上了一輛前往隔離酒店的巴士，志愿者給每個人都發(fā)了一張第二天的行程單，方便他們安排車輛護送大家轉高鐵或飛機。志愿者熱誠地給我們安排了房間和晚餐。

Because we waited for three hours on the plane, coupled with customs clearance and quarantine, and finally failed to catch the plane from Shanghai to Changsha, we had to stay in the free quarantine hotel provided by the Shanghai municipal government for one night. Several volunteers took us on a bus to the isolation hotel. They gave everyone a itinerary for the next day, so that they could arrange vehicles to escort everyone to the high-speed rail or the plane. Volunteers enthusiastically arranged rooms and dinner for us.

3月22日，天還蒙蒙亮，我們就起床了。本來打算從上海飛往長沙，然后再坐高鐵到郴州的爺爺奶奶家，爸爸只好改簽了上海至郴州的高鐵票。工作人員安排得很周到，除了幫我們的行李消毒，測體溫，還在高鐵站給我們境外回歸人員安排了專門的隔離點。

On March 22, when it was still dark, we got up. Originally, I planned to fly from Shanghai to Changsha, and then take the high-speed rail to Chenzhou's grandparents' home. My father had to sign a ticket for the high-speed rail from Shanghai to Chenzhou. The staff are well arranged. 工作人員檢查了我們的護照，帶我們上了車票對應的車次和車廂。這時，一位乘務員走過來耐心地詢問我們的情況，“你們從哪個國家回來，要去哪里，有沒有不舒服……”。又經過了四個小時，我們到達了長沙南高鐵站。馬上就有工作人員交接，安排我們在一個人少的地方候車。通過他們進一步的交接，我們終于坐上了從長沙開往郴州的高鐵。在高鐵上，乘務員友好地和我們交談，不知不覺我們到達了郴州西站。

按照郴州市政府規(guī)定，我們必須在酒店隔離十四天，才能去爺爺奶奶家。酒店工作人員和當地醫(yī)務人員非常熱情，耐心地幫我們登記、量體溫和消毒，讓我們有賓至如歸的感覺。在酒店隔離期間，還有其他身穿防護服的志愿者幫我們送一日三餐。頓時，我心想：祖國這么強大，如此有條不紊地抗擊疫情，怎么不可能有效地控制病毒的蔓延呢？

According to Chenzhou Municipal government, we must be isolated in the hotel for 14 days before we can go to grandparents' home. Hotel staff and local medical staff are very enthusiastic, patiently help us to register, take temperature and disinfect, let us feel at home. During the hotel isolation, other volunteers in protective clothing helped us deliver three meals a day. Suddenly, I thought to myself: how can it be impossible to effectively control the spread of the virus in such a strong and orderly way to fight against the epidemic?

四天的長途跋涉，跨國征程勞頓，比起在一線奮戰(zhàn)的白衣天使們和防疫工作人員，根本就不算什么了，而且他們已經奮戰(zhàn)了好幾個月了啊!
