使用的場景不同。兩者雖然都為會(huì)議或者開會(huì)的意思，但是兩者使用的場景不同，其中一個(gè)是比較正式的短語，而另一個(gè)是日常用語。meeting可以是開會(huì)、聚會(huì)、運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)，從詞根meet就可以看出，這個(gè)名詞強(qiáng)調(diào)的是碰頭、會(huì)面；而conference則尤指討論會(huì)、協(xié)商會(huì)，在商務(wù)方面用得比較多，且比meeting正式。
