district可以用作名詞

district意指“行政區(qū)”“區(qū)域”或者有顯著特色的地方,也指因其他各種目的劃分成的國家州、市、區(qū)等各種大小自然地理“區(qū)域”。

district在以前表示我國的“縣城”，如the Zhou district（周縣）。但是現(xiàn)在一般用county來代替，且前面不加the，如Zhou country（周縣）。
