journal和diary都有“日記”的意思，但journal通常用作記錄每天發(fā)生的事情，而diary更偏向情感記錄。journal偏向于文學(xué)用語，而diary更加口語化。

journal和diary的不同

Diary n. 日志，日記；日記簿。

journal和diary都是“日記,日志”的意思,但前者多見于文學(xué)作品,后者側(cè)重于日常生活方面的記錄。journal可以記錄事情、感受，是可以給別人看的那種，而diary更偏重于記錄個人的事情、感受，一般只有自己看，別人不給看的。

比如說，日記上寫了自己的一些小心思，那個叫diary。而寫游記、寫每天見聞、感受的那種叫journal。簡單來說，可以給別人看的叫journal，不能給別人看的叫diary。
