quantity的用法

1. quantity表示“數(shù)量”時，如果是指相對于質(zhì)量來說的“數(shù)量”，則為不可數(shù)名詞。

例句：We've always put quality before quantity.

我們總是認(rèn)為質(zhì)量比數(shù)量重要。

2. quantity如果指具體的數(shù)量，一般為可數(shù)名詞，這時可以連用不定冠詞或者用復(fù)數(shù)形式;如果要表示數(shù)量的多少，則可以用 great, large, huge或者small 等形容詞修飾;quantity既可以用于修飾不可數(shù)名詞，也可以用于修飾復(fù)數(shù)名詞。
