如果你要得到翻譯部分的及格分，首先得了解一個(gè)問題。

英語四級(jí)翻譯部分如何評(píng)分?

很多同學(xué)以為翻譯部分是采點(diǎn)給分，即錯(cuò)誤多少就扣相應(yīng)分?jǐn)?shù)。其實(shí)翻譯更多如同作文，評(píng)卷時(shí)給出的是印象分。印象即對(duì)考生的譯文有個(gè)總體的評(píng)判。比如按照0-15分打分，閱卷人先把試卷定位在一個(gè)分?jǐn)?shù)區(qū)間(<2，3-5，6-8，9-11，12-14，>14)，再具體給出評(píng)判。

所以建議大家：

1. 把中文調(diào)整成英文的結(jié)構(gòu)，抓住主干，理清枝葉。

比如：反應(yīng)在藝術(shù)和文學(xué)中的鄉(xiāng)村生活理想是中國文明的重要特征(2014年6月四級(jí)題目)。

對(duì)于這句話的翻譯首先應(yīng)該抓住主干。

(反應(yīng)在藝術(shù)和文學(xué)中的)鄉(xiāng)村生活理想是中國文明的重要特征。

那么：The ideal rural lifestyle (reflected in the art and literature) is a great characteristic in Chinese civilization.

嘗試下：巧婦難為無米之炊。

巧婦(難)為(無米之)炊

直譯：Even a good housewife cannot make meal without rice.

地道的翻譯：Even a good housewife cannot make bricks without straw.

注：有點(diǎn)和寫作一樣需要提醒，千萬不要范太低級(jí)的語法錯(cuò)誤，否則翻譯得再好也會(huì)降到低分區(qū)。

2. 翻譯不一定要苛求字詞，先把整個(gè)句子的結(jié)構(gòu)搭好，至少讓人覺得你譯文可以基本表達(dá)原文的內(nèi)容。

比如：為了促進(jìn)教育公平，中國已經(jīng)投入360億元，用于改善農(nóng)村地區(qū)教育設(shè)施和加強(qiáng)中西部地區(qū)農(nóng)村義務(wù)教育(2014年6月四級(jí)題目)。

該句子先學(xué)會(huì)搭結(jié)構(gòu)：

In order to ______, China has invested 36 billion yuan to _______ and __________.

如果你不會(huì)寫義務(wù)教育，甚至教育設(shè)施也不了解，但是至少你的結(jié)構(gòu)搭出來了，那你就勉為其難地瞎編或者不寫你并不會(huì)的部分。

以下是一個(gè)學(xué)生的譯文：

In order to improve the equality of education, China invested 36 billion yuan to improve the country education equipment and improve the education in center and west areas.

我們發(fā)現(xiàn)盡管這不是一個(gè)很贊的譯文，但是基本翻譯出了原文的大致意思，根據(jù)印象一般判為中等。

參考譯文：

In order to promote the equality in education, China has invested 36 billion yuan to improve the education facilities in rural areas and enhance the rural compulsory education in the central and western regions.

3. 學(xué)會(huì)變通翻譯。

盡管我們不主張把指南針翻譯成GPS或者a machine always pointing to the south，但是大家還是要學(xué)會(huì)變通。

比如：它既包括為皇室成員享樂而建造的大型花園，也包括學(xué)者、商人和卸任的政府官員為擺脫嘈雜的外部世界而建造的私家花園(2013年12月六級(jí)題目)。

首先參考前兩部，打好結(jié)構(gòu)，抓住主干：

中文可以分解成：它既包括(為皇室成員享樂而建造的)大型花園，也包括(學(xué)者、商人和卸任的政府官員為擺脫嘈雜的外部世界而建造的)私家花園。

英文的結(jié)構(gòu)搭成：It includes not only the large gardens _________ but also the private gardens __________.

第一個(gè)空格翻譯：為皇室成員享樂而建造的

“享樂”很多同學(xué)一下子想不出翻譯方法，其實(shí)享樂大不了就用have fun。

于是：the large gardens which are built for royal family to have fun

第二個(gè)空格翻譯：學(xué)者、商人和卸任的政府官員為擺脫嘈雜的外部世界而建造的

“擺脫嘈雜的外部世界”也使得很多同學(xué)為難，其實(shí)大不了就用get rid of the noise from the outside world。

the private gardens which are built for scholars, merchants and retired government workers to get rid of the noise from the outside world.

完整版本即：

It includes not only the large gardens which are built for royal family to have fun, but also the private gardens which are built for scholars, merchants and retired government workers to get rid of the noise from the outside world.

當(dāng)然好的版本如：

It includes not only the large gardens as an entertainment venue for royal family, but also the private gardens built as secluded retreats for scholars, merchants and retired government workers.
