hurt的用法

1. 用于本義，表示身體上的“受傷”“疼痛”，此時通常通常連用的副詞修飾語有 badly, seriously, slightly 等。如：

Jim didn’t look seriously hurt. 看上去吉姆傷得并不嚴(yán)重。

They were badly hurt in the accident. 他們在事故中受了重傷。

2. 用于引申義，表示感情上的“傷害”，此時通常連用的副詞修飾語有deeply, extremely, really, terribly, very (much), greatly 等。如：

Her remark hurt him deeply. 她的話深深地傷害了他。

I was very much hurt at what he said. 聽了他的話我很痛心。

3. be hurt后可接動詞不定式或that從句。如：

She was hurt to think of his being left alone. 想到他一個人留在那兒她就難受。

4. 注意hurt, injure, wound的區(qū)別：

(1) hurt屬普通用詞，指身體上的受傷，可輕可重，常帶有較強(qiáng)的疼痛感。另外它還經(jīng)常用于比喻義，表示精神或感情上的傷害。

(2) injure與hurt的含義較為接近，但更正式，主要指人在意外事故中受到傷害。如：

In the accident 10 people died and 20 were seriously injured. 在這次事故中，有10人死亡，20人受重傷。

有時也用于比喻義。如：

Smoking will injure your health. 抽煙會損害你的健康。

Her refusal injured his pride. 她拒絕他，傷害了他的自尊心。

(3) wound 主要指外界暴力或用武器造成的較重的身體上的傷害，多用于戰(zhàn)斗或作戰(zhàn)等場合。如：

The soldier was badly wounded in the head. 這位士兵頭部受了重傷。

(4) 從用法上看，過去分詞wounded和injured均可用于名詞前作定語，而用作過去分詞的 hurt則很少這樣用。如：

The wounded [injured] soldier was well looked after. 這個受傷的士兵受到了很好的照顧。

(5) the injured和the wounded均可用作名詞，意為“受傷的人”（具有復(fù)數(shù)意義），但一般不用the hurt來表示類似意義。如：

The injured [wounded] were sent to hospital. 受傷的人被送往醫(yī)院。
