vt.& vi. 許可進(jìn)入;承認(rèn),供認(rèn);
vt. 允許;確認(rèn);
vi. 承認(rèn);允許;
She admitted having seen us.
I admit breaking the window.
He admitted (to) stealing.
He admitted (to) feeling a bit tired.
She admitted him to be right.
You must admit the task to be difficult.
He admitted that it was really his fault.
She admitted that she was afraid of spiders.
This ticket admits one person only.
There were no windows to admit air.
The school admits 200 students every year.
She was admitted to [into] the Party.
She was admitted as a Party member.
He opened the door and admitted me to enter into the house.(可將to enter去掉)
The price quoted will not admit of any allowance.
This sentence admits of several interpretations.
