remind的用法

1.表示使某人想起某事或提醒某人某事,通常與介詞 of 連用.如：

We must remind you of your promise.我們必須提醒你答應(yīng)過(guò)的事.

有時(shí)可連用介詞 about.如：

If I forget,please remind me about it.我要是忘了,請(qǐng)?zhí)嵝盐?

2.其后可接不定式的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu).如：

Be sure to remind her to come back early.一定要提醒她早點(diǎn)回來(lái).

比較 remind sb to do sth 與 remind sb of doing sth：前者指提醒某人去做某事,其中的不定式所表示的動(dòng)作尚未發(fā)生；后者指提醒某人（使某人想起）已經(jīng)做過(guò)某事,其中的動(dòng)名詞表示動(dòng)作已經(jīng)發(fā)生.比較：

He reminded me to see the film.他提醒我去看這部電影.

He reminded me of my seeing the film.他提醒我說(shuō),我曾看過(guò)這部電影.
