practice的用法

practise在美國英語中也可拼作 practice（它在英國英語中為名詞），一般practice具有兩種用法，內(nèi)容如下：

1. 表示“練習(xí)”，可用作及物或不及物動詞。如：

The more you practise the better you get. 你練得越多，效果越好。

He has very few opportunities to practise her English. 他很少有機會練習(xí)英語。

在類似下面這樣的句子中，省略其中的介詞，pratise 即為及物動詞：

She practises (on, upon, at) the piano every day. 她每天練習(xí)彈鋼琴。

2. 表示練習(xí)做某事，其后只能接動名詞（即用于 practise doing sth），不能接不定式。如：

Practise throwing the ball into the net. 練習(xí)投籃。

You must practise speaking English more. 你應(yīng)更多地練習(xí)講英語。

表示“實行”，其后也接動名詞作賓語而不接不定式（即用于 practise doing sth），此時大意為“經(jīng)常做某事”。如：

He advised me to practise getting up early. 他勸我早起。

He practices taking a walk after supper. 他晚飯后常去散步。
