knowledge“知識”，一般是指正確而且系統(tǒng)的知識，它可指個人的知識，也可指全人類所積累的知識。它前面常用表示“獲得”的動詞，如acquire，obtain，get等。但它不與study或learn連用。常用詞組to sb?’s knowledge表“據(jù)某人所知”; information“知識”，指個人從他人、書本、觀察、實際中所得來的真實的或想象的知識或信息，常指零碎的知識，亦有“資料，情報”之意;learning“知識，學問”，指通過刻苦鉆研后獲得的反映客觀事物的系統(tǒng)知識。它還表“學習”。
