1.gotobed上床睡覺。如：

He goes to bed at nine. 他九點(diǎn)上床睡覺。

He didn’t go to bed until his wife came back. 直到他妻子回來他才睡覺。

比較 go to bed(上床睡覺)與 go to the bed(到床邊去)。如：

He went to bed at 10 lastnight. 他昨晚10點(diǎn)鐘上床睡覺。

He went to the bed and found a letter on it. 他走到床邊，發(fā)現(xiàn)上面放著一封信。

2.inbed在床上(睡覺)。如：

He is still in bed. 他還在睡覺。

He’s sick in bed with a cold. 他因感冒而臥床。

注：該結(jié)構(gòu)中通常不用冠詞或其他限定詞。

3.makethebed 鋪床。如(from www.網(wǎng)址未加載)：

Make the bed whenever you are up. 起床就要鋪床。

注：make one’s (own) bed, 意為“自食其果”。如：

As you make your own bed, so you must lie on it. 你是自作自受。

4.ona(the)bed在床上。如：

There is a red box on the bed. 床上有個(gè)紅色的盒子。

注：該結(jié)構(gòu)通常應(yīng)有冠詞或其他限定詞，有時(shí)它與 in bed 大致同義，只是搭配不同而已。如：
