ice cream一般認為是不可數(shù)名詞，沒有復數(shù)形式，但是可以說a bowl/two bowls of ice cream等等。但是在英美等國家的餐館飯店里，人們?yōu)榱苏f話簡潔，直接把這個短語變成復數(shù)使用，結(jié)果就有了two ice creams這樣不規(guī)范的說法。

ice cream是可數(shù)名詞嗎

1、不可數(shù)，表示抽象的冰淇淋或者前面已經(jīng)有量詞了。

A.表示抽象的冰淇淋

Desserts are served with cream or ice cream.甜點上加奶油或冰激凌。

I'll get you some ice cream.我會給你買些冰激凌。Ice cream is high in fat and sugar.冰激凌富含脂肪和糖。

B.Ice cream前面已經(jīng)有量詞了，例：

I ate two dishes of ice cream.我吃了兩碟冰淇淋。The boy ate several dishfuls of ice cream.那小男孩吃了好幾滿盤冰淇淋。

2、可數(shù)名詞，指一份冰淇淋。例：

Who wants an ice cream?誰要冰激凌？

The boy charged up and asked for an ice cream.這個男孩跑上來，要了一份冰淇淋。

3、ice cream復數(shù)為什么不加s？

可數(shù)名詞的時候，是可以加s的，如The boy charged up and asked for two ice creams.這個男孩跑上來，要了兩份冰淇淋。

復數(shù)的構(gòu)成

1、名詞由單數(shù)變?yōu)閺蛿?shù)時，在一般情況下是在詞尾加上－s。如：a desk一張課桌→two desks兩張課桌，one room一個房間→some rooms一些房間。

2、如果一個名詞以s，x，z，sh，ch等結(jié)尾，那么其復數(shù)就是在加詞尾－es。如：a boss一位老板→many bosses許多位老板，this watch這塊手表→these watches這些手表。

3、如果一個名詞以y結(jié)尾，則其復數(shù)構(gòu)成要分兩種情況：以“輔音字母＋y”結(jié)尾的名詞，將y改為ies;以“元音字母＋y”結(jié)尾的名詞，直接加詞尾－s。如：a family一個家庭→many families許多家庭，one monkey一只猴子→several monkeys幾只猴子。
