race可以用作名詞

race作“種族”解時,具有人類學(xué)或人種學(xué)含義,常指獨(dú)特的、具有固定身體特征(如膚色,毛質(zhì)、骨骼等)的一個種類。在一般用法中可指由于共同的歷史而被認(rèn)為是同一種族的群。race也可用于動植物,指“物種”。
