unless可以用作連詞

unless所引導(dǎo)的條件狀語從句常用一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)表示將來意義,主句多用一般將來時(shí)。unless在表示“除非”時(shí),如其引導(dǎo)的從句謂語是be,而從句的主語跟主句的主語相同時(shí),從句的主語和be就可省略。有時(shí)從句中主語為it時(shí),也可省略it或從句中的有關(guān)成分。

在unless引導(dǎo)的肯定形式的條件從句中通常用肯定詞,如:already, still, some, too。在unless引導(dǎo)的否定形式的條件從句中通常用否定詞。

unless表示條件時(shí)后可接現(xiàn)在分詞短語。
