appoint可以用作動詞

appoint的基本義是“確定,指定,約定”。可以指定某一時間或地點做某事; 可以指定某人擔任某職務; 也可以指派某人做某事; 還可以把物品放在指定的地方。

appoint是及物動詞,其后可接名詞或代詞作賓語,也可以接由動詞不定式短語、“as/to be+ n. ”充當補足語的復合賓語, as和to be?？墒÷?。appoint作“命令”(正式用語)解時還可接that從句,不過有些陳舊。
