※ 由although和though引導的讓步狀語從句。though和although都表示“雖然，縱然”之意，在一般情況下可以互換使用。在口語中，though使用較頻繁，although比though正式，二者都可與yet, still或nevertheless連用，但不能與but連用。如:

l)Though it is true that one must not live in the past, it is important to use the past to learnfrom his mistakes.盡管人的確不該生活在過去，但從過去的錯誤中汲取教訓卻是重要的。

2) Although/Though he is very old, ( yet ) he is quite strong.他雖然年紀大了，身體卻還很健壯。

※ 由as和though引導的讓步狀語從句。as引導的讓步狀語從句必須以部分倒裝的形式出現(xiàn)，倒裝的部分可以是表語、狀語或動詞原形。though有時也用于這樣的結(jié)構(gòu)中，但although不可以這樣用。如:

Hard as/though he works，he makes little progress.(=Though he works hard，he makes littleprogress.)盡管他學習很努力，但幾乎沒取得什么進步。

※ 由"no matter+疑問詞或疑問詞+后綴ever”引導的讓步狀語從句。

注意，no matter what=whatever, no matter who=whoever, no matter when= whenever, nomatter where=wherever, no matter which=whichever, no matter

how=however。如:

No matter what you do，do with your might.(=Whatever you do，do with your might.)無論你做什么，都要盡力而為。

※ 由ever if/even though引導的讓步狀語從句。如:

We'll make a trip even though the weather is bad.即使天氣不好，我們也要去旅行。

※ 由whether...or引導的讓步狀語從句。如:
