assure表示向某人保證某事將要發(fā)生，既可以用來確證某事，也可以表示使某人確信，assure的賓語通常是人或人稱代詞；ensure的意思是使某行為或某件事的結(jié)果得以保證，即確保某事發(fā)生；insure意思是為防不測向保險公司付錢投保；reassure表示安慰憂慮不安的人，使其安心，放心，恢復信心。

assure ensure insure reassure都含有一定的"保證"之意。

assure是向某人保證什么，后面跟somebody，再跟名詞（物）或that從句；

ensure是保證，擔保什么東西；后面跟名詞（物）或that從句；

insure是“投保；給…保險；接受投保；承?！?，經(jīng)濟術語；

reassure是assure前加了表示“反復，一再”的前綴，我們可以理解為“一再向…保證”，就是為了“使…安心；打消…的疑慮”。

assure例句：

1、He assured us of his ability to solve the problem．

他向我們保證他有能力解決這個問題。

2、We booked early to assure ourselves of（getting）good seats．

我們及早訂座以保證我們能得到好座位。

ensure例句：

1、To ensure the child's quick recovery,the doctor gave him an antibiotic．

為使這個孩子盡快恢復，醫(yī)生給他打了一劑抗生素

2、Registration ensures delivery of mail．掛號寄郵件保證會送到。

insure例句：

1、My house is insured against fire．

我的房子保了火險。

2、Are you insured for all risks?

reassure例句：

1、I was worried that my work wasn't good enough，but the teacher reassured me(about it).

我擔心我的作業(yè)不夠好，可是老師卻讓我放心。
