口訣：比較級前用個(gè)be，比較級后用個(gè)“比”(than)。修飾比較級的詞有a bit，a little，rather，much，far等。

比較級前可用a bit, a little, rather, some(肯定句及請求或建議的問句中),any(否定句或疑問句中)表示“稍稍，一點(diǎn)”;

用much, far, a great/good deal, a lot, lots, a good bit等表示“……得多”;

用still(只用于肯定句), even, yet等表示“更加”。

如：Can you move a little farther?你可以站稍遠(yuǎn)一點(diǎn)嗎?

Do you feel any better today?你今天覺得好一點(diǎn)了嗎?

Let’s go by car. It’s much cheaper. 咱們開車去。這樣便宜得多。

There are far more people than we expected. 人比我們預(yù)計(jì)的多得多。

He is fat，but his brother is still fatter. 他很胖，但他哥哥更胖。

注：在作定語的比較級形容詞前一般只用far或much。如：

That was a much/far easier job. 這是件容易得多的工作。

在修飾或代替復(fù)數(shù)可數(shù)名詞的more前不可用much，而要用many。如：

I’ve made many more mistakes than you have.我出的錯(cuò)比你多得多。

a bit、a little、rather、by far、a lot、a great deal、still。

1.只能修飾比較級,不能修飾原級的有：much,many,a lot,far,no,even,some,any.如 He is much/a lot/far/no/even older than me./ I couldn’t go any further./ He has many more pens than I.

2.既能修飾比較級,又能修飾原級的有：a little,a bit,still以及數(shù)量詞短語.

如 I am a little/a bit/still hungry./ The street is 200 metres long.

He is a little/a bit/still/two years older than me.

3.只能修飾原級,不能修飾比較級的有：

a.very,quite,too,so.如 David runs very/quite/too/so fast.

b.句型as…as…以及not as/so…as.如 He looks as angry as I.
