錯綜時間虛擬條件句

所謂錯綜時間虛擬條件句即條件從句與主句所指時間不一致，如從句指過去，而主句即指的是現(xiàn)在或將來，此時應根據(jù)具體的語境情況對時態(tài)作相應的調整。如：

If it had rained last night, the ground would be wet now. 要是昨晚下過雨的話，現(xiàn)在地面就會是濕的。

You would be much better now if you had taken my advice. 假若你當時聽我的話，你現(xiàn)在就會好多了。

If I had not got married, I would still have been living abroad. 如果我沒結婚，我會仍然一直住在國外。

If she were trying harder, her parents wouldn’t be so anxious. 如果她現(xiàn)在更用功些，她的父母也不會這么憂慮了。

If it had been raining this morning, we would have stayed home. 如果今天早上一直下雨，我們就會待在家里了。

If you’d listened to me, you wouldn’t be in such trouble now. 如果你聽了我的話，你現(xiàn)在也不會有這樣的麻煩了。

If it hadn’t been for her care, I should not be speaking to you now. 如果不是她精心照料我，我現(xiàn)在也不會在這里和你談話了。

If the doctor had come in time, Amy would still be alive. 如果醫(yī)生及時趕到艾米現(xiàn)在還會活著。

If he had received six more votes, he would be our chairman now. 如果他多得六票，現(xiàn)在就是我們的主席了。

If you were in better health, we’d have let you go with us. 你要是身體好一點，我們就讓你和我們一道去了。

【說明】條件從句用 if I were…時，既可指現(xiàn)在也可指過去。如：

If I were you, I would go. 假若我是你，我就去(from www.網(wǎng)址未加載)。

If I were not busy, I would have come. 假若我不忙，我早就來了。

也可用 if I had been you也表示過去。如(from www.網(wǎng)址未加載)：

If I had been you，I’d have taken the job. 我要是你，我就接受那份工作了。
