1.agood[great]deal(of)

(1)許多，大量。如：

He spent a good deal of money on it. 他對(duì)此花了不少錢。

At the end of the year there was a great deal to do. 年底有很多事要做。

We’ve heard a great deal about the writer. 關(guān)于這位作者的情況我們聽(tīng)說(shuō)了很多。

(2)經(jīng)常，非常，……得多。如：

They see each other a great deal. 他們經(jīng)常見(jiàn)面。

3.dealout分配，分給，分發(fā)。如：

The money was dealt out fairly. 錢分配得公平合理。

4.dealwith

(1)處理，對(duì)付，對(duì)待。如：

How shall we deal with this matter? 這事我們?cè)趺刺幚?

I don’t know how to deal with him. 我不知怎樣與他相處。

(2)論述。如：

The next chapter deals with verbs. 下一章論述動(dòng)詞。

This book deals with educational problems. 這本書(shū)論述教育問(wèn)題。

(3)做買賣，有商業(yè)關(guān)系。如：

We often deal with that shop. 我們經(jīng)常在那家商店買東西。

(4)與……打交道。如：

He is difficult to deal with. 他很難打交道。

We don’t deal with terrorists. 我們不與恐怖分子打交道。
